Overview

If you notice any mistakes on your W-2G forms after submission, you must file corrections to ensure accurate reporting with the IRS and/or states.

With the TaxBandits API, you can file a correction for W-2G forms even if the original return was filed elsewhere. However, in order to do so, the IRS must have accepted the previously filed correction. Learn more about W-2G corrections.
