How to automate new hire reporting
Depending on the state you’re filing in and its requirements, you can use the following endpoints to automate the filing of new hire reports.
- Create – Generate a new hire report and submit it to the specified state.
- Update – Modify a previously-created new hire report to include any changes.
- Transmit – Submit the new hire report to the state.
Status retrieval
You have two different options to automate new hire reporting:
- Status – Check the status of a new hire report submitted to the states.
- Webhooks — As an alternative to the Status endpoint, you can configure webhooks for the event type ‘New Hire Status Change’ to receive automated status updates.
Other endpoints
- List – Retrieve a list of all new hire reports created for a specific business.
- Get – Retrieve the details of a specific new hire report previously created in TaxBandits
- Delete – Remove a draft new hire report that hasn’t been transmitted yet.
