Go Live

Once you've completed your integration and validated your workflows in the sandbox environment, you're ready to transition to production. This process ensures that your application meets all functional and compliance requirements before interacting with real data or transmitting live filings.

Step 1: Complete Development & Testing​

Before proceeding to production, ensure the following:

  • All required workflows (e.g., authentication, form creation, transmission, status retrieval) have been tested in the sandbox.

  • Simulation scenarios for filing statuses, TIN Matching, and error conditions have been validated.

  • Webhooks are configured and tested for applicable endpoints.

  • Your integration adheres to the TaxBandits API standards and error-handling best practices.

Step 2: Complete Development & Testing​

When you're ready to go live:

  1. Log in to your Sandbox Console
  2. Complete the 'Go Live' Questionnaire. This questionnaire is designed to collect key integration details and confirm testing is complete.
  3. Review the 'Go Live' Checklist that outlines all required configurations and test cases. Ensure all items are completed before submitting your request.

After you submit your request, the TaxBandits team will review your questionnaire responses, audit your API request and response logs in the sandbox and verify compliance with the checklist requirements. Once approved, your integration will be cleared for production.

Step 3: Finalize Licensing & Access​

When you're ready to go live:

  • Before production credentials are issued, a representative from our Sales Team will connect with you to discuss pricing based on your filing volume and service usage, complete the required paperwork and execute the TaxBandits License Agreement
  • After the agreement is finalized, you will receive: Login credentials for the Production Console Access to production-level Client ID, Client Secret and User Token

Step 4: Begin Using Live Environment​

Before you begin:

Follow the same request structure and authentication flow used in the sandbox—just update your credentials and base URLs to point to production.
