Overview

Use the 1099-NEC Corrections endpoints to correct an accepted Form 1099-NEC return. Corrections are available when the original return was filed through TaxBandits or another provider.

The IRS must have accepted the original return before a correction can be filed. For correction requirements and supported correction types, see 1099 Corrections.

State corrections

For state corrections, include the applicable state correction type in the request. Supported values are VOID, CORRECTION, and NEW.
