Update

Update

This endpoint can be used to update the details on an existing 1099-LTC return or to add additional returns under the same SubmissionId. Your request JSON must include the SubmissionId and RecordId of the return you want to modify.

Key points​

  • You cannot update a return once it has been transmitted, unless the return is in a ‘Scheduled’ status — scheduled forms can be updated until 11:59 PM ET of the previous day.
  • The TaxYear of a submission cannot be changed once created. All other fields can be updated.
